Submitting a Panel:
Please note that we are instituting a rule for first time panelists with Anime Central:
You must submit either a personal resume (with qualifications regarding your topic) or outline of the topics to be discussed along with your panel submission form in order to be processed.
This does not apply to anyone who has run a panel with ACen within the last to years as well as members of the Anime or Convention industry. If you feel that your submission should be exempt from this rule please include that in the comments section of your submission form, also include a company email address for verification (i.e. @otakon.com, @funimation.com)
Deadlines:
The deadline for first time panel submissions this year will be January 31, 2007. If you are a returning panelist or a member of the industry your deadline is February 28, 2007.
Please Note: This deadline is to ensure adequate time for processing of your form and comp badges as well as scheduling. Panel submissions past the deadline will still be accepted but recieve lower priority in badges, room assignement and time requests.
If your panel form has been returned to you for revision, your submission time will be based on your original submission not your resubmission.
Other Notes:
These deadlines are subject to extension without notice. Any personal requests for extension will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please do your best to get your submission in on time.
Special Notice to Panelists:
For the first time, we will be allowing panelists to submit special information or even a website for us to host.
This program is in the trial stages so please bear with us if technical problems should arise.
We will be hosting websites for any approved panels. Generically they will include your panel name, description, time and location (the last 2 when available). If you would like to include any custom information or links/pictures please contact us and we will make those updates to your site. (Please note, we will not publish your email address without obtaining your approval)
