Making a costume is hard works, from picking out fabric, to making and modifying patterns, even making the darn sewing machine to work right. Then there the joys of making little props, and details on the costume, and getting them to look right. The trouble of making that big prop and and signature piece, mascot costume, or armor you always dreamed of. Come listen to the judges explain the hardships and headaches they went through learning to make their award winning costumes. Find out what they learned worked, and avoid the mistakes they made.
